Liwei Full Range of Vinyl Acetate Polymers Obtained ISCC Sustainable Carbon Certification, PVAc, VAE, EVA, EVOH & PVB Fully Access EU Low-Carbon Trade Channels

With the full implementation of EU CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism), low-carbon and traceable chemical raw materials have become mandatory thresholds for entering the European market. Recently, Anhui Liwei Chemical announced that five product lines including PVAc, VAE, EVA, EVOH and PVB have all passed ISCC PLUS international sustainable carbon certification, with full REACH registration completed for all grades. Liwei ranks among a small number of domestic manufacturers holding dual certifications for all vinyl acetate polymer categories. The certification covers the whole chain including raw material traceability, production carbon emission control and finished product carbon footprint accounting. The factory upgraded circulating water systems and waste heat recovery equipment, cutting carbon emissions per unit product by 22%. All export shipments can provide ISCC carbon traceability certificates to assist EU clients with carbon tax declaration and avoid extra import carbon costs. Category-specific export advantages are prominent: low-VOC formaldehyde-free PVAc & VAE emulsions comply with EU new environmental regulations for coatings and adhesives; bio-modified EVOH meets EU carbon reduction policies for food packaging; photovoltaic-grade EVA and optical PVB fit low-carbon procurement standards of EU new energy and automotive industries. Leveraging dual certification qualifications, Liwei Chemical launches a distributor recruitment program across Europe, covering core industrial countries such as Germany, France, Spain and Poland, while expanding layout of low-carbon material markets in the Middle East and Australia. EU polymer export orders rose 47% month-on-month in H1 2026, and low-carbon certification acts as the core growth engine for overseas business.
